UFC on Fox 2: Evans vs. Davis results and Rashad Evans out points Phil Davis in a five round battle and now is the number one contender to fight Jon Jones for the UFC light heavyweight title and Chael Sonnen beats Michael Bisping to face off with Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight title as Sonnon used his wrestling skills to out point Bisping who has no answer for the wrestling from Sonnen.


Rashad simply outclassed Davis and put on a show as he totally dominated the fight as he used all weapons  for a very lopsided unanimous decision from the previously unbeaten Phil Davis as Evans swept the scorecards by identical 50-45 by all the UFC judges.


In Sonnen’s fight he was able to land a number of takedowns in all three rounds but had difficulty keeping Bisping on his back. Bisping was able to get up and return to a standing position, where he launched punches into Sonnen’s head and was able to pin the NCAA All-American wrestler to the cage.


Sonnen was able to grind out a win with his takedown points to secure the win where he willnot get his chance to beat Anderson Silva.


The best preliminary fight of the night came from Charles “do Bronx” Oliveira where he submitted the UFC’s first Calf Slicer which is one of the most painful moves in jiu-jitsu.


Other winners of the night were Chris Camozzi, Lavar Johnson, Michael Johnson, Cub Swanson, Mike Russow, Evan Dunham and Chris Weidman over Demian Maia.

The following fighters were awarded $65,000 bounses.
