UFC Betting Review:

The television event started off with 2 great strikers in Duane Ludwig and Amir Sadollah and Ludwig showed in the first round he was the slightly better striker with vicious body shots to Amir Sadollah.

Duane Ludwig was able to outpoint Sadollah with harder shots and a more technical striking game to win a 3 round unanimous decision.

Next up was the 21 year old Brazilian Charles Oliveira who came in to face the tough well rounded Donald Cerrone. Oliveira has all the skills to be one day champion has already faced some very tough fights but Cerrone would be a tough test for the young MMA fighter.

Oliveira was way over matched by the bigger more powerful Cerrone as Cerrone landed a left upper cut to the solarplexes that sent Oliveira down. Oliveira might need to go to the 145 pound division as he will have a hard time fighting more powerful 155 pound fighters. Cerrone is one of the best lightweights in the UFC he moves up a step for a title shot.

The fight of the night candidate was next as the high energy Ben Henderson came into fight the highly underrated Jim Miller. In the first round landed a standing arm triangle but landed on the ground in his guard. Though Miller attempted more submission attempts Henderson landed the harder shots from the top.

In the second round Henderson landed an elbow that cut Miller and got a number of takedowns. Henderson was all over Miller with vicious strikes every time Miller went for submission attempts. In the third round Miller caught Henderson but Ben recovered and was all over Miller by mounting him and taking his back and battling Miller for an easy three round victory.

The main event was also a fight of the night contender with two heavy hitting fighters facing off between Dan Hardy and Chris Lytle who is making his last fight with 54 mixed martial arts fights through out his career. Lytle has never been KO’ed or submitted in the UFC and he would definitely put on a show in his last MMA fight.
Lytle has done it all for his fans with 20 fights in the UFC. Though never a champion he fights and outs on a show for the fans and Lytle has won 8 UFC fight bonuses including 5 Fights of the Night, 2 Submission of the Night Honors, and 1 Knockout Of The Night Honors.

Lytle came out swing to the body and swept Hardy but it looked like he wanted to make his last fight a striking battle. Lytle landed a lot of shots especially the hook, the body punch and the over hand right.

Lytle came out swinging in the second round but it was Hardy that landed a hard shot that stunned Lytle but he recovered. Lytle landed more in the second round but Hardy got two harder shots that might have won him the round.

In the third round both fighters stand and trade punches and Lytle lands the better shots as Hardy shoots in for a takedown but Lytle reverses and mounts for a Guillotine choke victory.

The next will be UFC Rio: Silva vs. Okami that will be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on on August 27, 2011 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event will be the second time that the UFC has hosted in Brazil.
