For all you fat guys out there, there is hope you can make the UFC and Roy Nelson proved it. With the mother of all beer guts Roy "Big Country” Nelson showed he is a force to recon with as he KO’ed the 6 foot 11 Stefan Struve.
Nelson looked like a fat kid getting picking on the school yard but he hit Struve with an overhand right that sent him to the ground. Nelson he proved he deserves to be in the UFC and he is in line for a top ten heavyweight.
Nate Quarry proved he does not deserve to be in the UFC as he was picked apart by the much older Jorge Rivera who beat him like he stole something from him.
Yushin Okami proved he still deserves to be in the UFC middleweight title hunt with a TKO over Lucio Linhares.
The main event had one of the best light weights to ever fight at 155 make his UFC debut. Takanori Gomi like most Japanese fighters do not well in the octagon. It was total domination by Kenny Florian as he was able to out jab Gomi and finally in the third round Florian was able to take him to the ground and apply the rear naked choke.
