UFC Betting Review:
The UFC 135 preliminaries were pretty uneventful as James Te Huna was able to KO Ricardo Romero early in the first round, Takeya Mizugaki won by TKO over Cole Escovedo and Junior Assunção and Tim Boetsch won their fights by unanimous decision.
In the main UFC 135 pay per view once again had a Diaz being able to tap out Takanori Gomi and once again a Japanese fighter falls in the UFC.
Mark Hunt showed once again he is on his way back to being a top level heavyweight with a tough 3 round unanimous decision over highly regarded Ben Rothwell.
Matt Hughes made his way to the UFC octagon for probably the last time to fight Josh Koscheck. Right off the bat both fighters start swinging at each other. Koscheck lands a right uppercut from puts Hughes wobbly. Koscheck follows up with a barrage of punches which land and causes Hughes to stumble backward and fall. Koscheck drops heavy right hands and Hughes turns to his left side and Koscheck lands four more right hands. Mario Yamasaki steps in to stop the fight at 4:59 of the first round.

The main event is between Jon Jones that champ versus Rampage Jackson and the first round has Jones doing unorthodox fighting styles and winds up pinning Rampage against the cage. The round ends with Jones trying a spinning elbow and missing a wheel kick and another elbow.
In the second round Jones goes for outside leg kicks just like Forrest Griffin did in his fight with Rampage. As the round ends Jones pulls guard and tries a triangle choke to win the round with more aggressiveness.
In the third round Rampage throws a few kicks to the inside of Jones’ right leg but Jones gets into full mount only 90 seconds into the round and begins trying to drop elbows on Rampage’s forehead and Rampage eventually gets out of mount and gets the fight back to standing where Jones once again begins with leg kicks. Near the end of the round Jones picks Rampage up and body slams him onto the mat as the round ends.
When the fourth round begins Jones pins Rampage against the fence. Jones takes Rampage’s back as Jackson goes to turns where he sinks in his left hook to flatten Jackson out.
Jones gets the rear-naked choke and Jackson is forced to tap out at 1:14 of the fourth round.
The next UFC event will be UFC Live: Cruz vs. Johnson that will be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on October 1, 2011 at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C
