UFC Betting Review:
The Spike TV free undercard fights started off UFC 134 Rio with a great fight between two very good black belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grapplers in Dan Miller and leg lock specialist Rousimar Palhares.
Palhares got a good leg kick to the jaw and that rocked Miller and repeatedly landed the lower inside and outsider leg kicks and showed more movement on the ground and his striking looked a lot more improved.

Late in the first round Palhares rocked Miller badly and walked away thinking he won the fight letting Miller regain his thoughts. If Palhares did not walk away he would have won the fight.
When the fight started again Miller rocked Palhares that sent him to the ground but Palhares reversed Miller to end up on top at the end of the fight. Palhares was all over Miller in the second round just pummeling him on top for at least a 10-8 round. In the third round, both fighters were exhausted as both fighters just traded shots lightly and the ended with Palhares winning a unanimous decision.
The second fight on Spike TV had Spencer Fisher versus Thiago Tavares. Tavares got the early takedown and pinned Fisher against the fence and controlled him the majority of the first round and ended the round by taking his back. The second round Tavares once again took down Fisher and took his back and pounded him till the ref stopped the fight wth a dominating performance.
The UFC 134 pay per view started off with a Stanislav Nedkov beating the under achieving Luis Cane with a first round TKO at the 4:20 mark of the first round.
The next fight had Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira fighting the up and coming Brendan Schaub. The question was out if Nogueira could bounce back from some brutal KO loses and recent surgery to his knee. Nogueira has been in too many wars and everyone is wondering if his fight days are behind him. Schaub came out aggressive and landed some nice shots early and even looked like they wobbled Big Nog. Than all of the sudden, Nog who is known to take a beating, lands a left hook-right straight combo which sends Schaub to the ground and Big Nog pounces on him as Schaub is out for the count.
Shogun came in to avenge his loss against Forrest Griffin and rebound after his brutal loss to Jon Jones. Right off the bat Shogun lands an uppercut then a knee to the gut. Shogun then lands a left hook to the temple of Griffin that sends him to the ground, Referee Goddard steps in at 1:53, giving Shogun the KO victory to avenge his 2007 defeat.
Next up, the main event for the UFC middleweight title between Anderson Silva and Yushin Okami. As we said in our UFC matchup Okami is always slow starter and as we started he came out slow while Silva danced around him. Silva wins the first round with being more active.
In the second round Silva starts out faster and lands stiff jabs and rapid-fire leg kicks. Silva than drops Okami with a right hook as Okami lays on his side, covering his head as Silva drops punches and elbows to his head and body.
Herb Dean rushes in to stop the fight at 2:04 of the second round.
