Jon Jones Destroys Shogun to Become the Youngest UFC Light Heavyweight Champion

The Jone “Bones” Jones era has begun. He took apart Shogun Rua with speed and wrestling and the champ had no answer for Jones strikes and speed.
It must have been destiny for him to win as the night before Jon Jones was walking to a waterfall to meditate when he saw a guy stealing items from a car. He chased the robber and apprehended him until the police arrived.
Jones was able to make Shogun look like a rookie as he was able to make him look ineffective. Shogun had no answer for Jones and at only 23 years old he looked unstoppable in the 205 pound division.
In the undercard Cro Cop once again looked horrible in the UFC has he has no answer for the younger more powerful Brendan Schaub. This might be his last night in mixed martial arts.
So whats up next for Jones? After the fight, the UFC announced Jones will fight former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans; his training partner at Greg Jackson's mixed martial arts.
Both fighters had said in the past that they would never fight each other -- a rule that was in place at Jackson’s MMA.
Fighters were awarded $70,000 bonuses.
