UFC Betting Review:
There was no question this time as Frankie Edgar dominated BJ Penn for all five round to defend his UFC 155 pound lightweight title. Edgar used his speed and quick in and out jabs to baffle Penn who had no answer for the speed and tenacity of Edgar.
Edgar was able to take down Penn at will and Penn was disillusioned and could not figure out the game plan for Edgar. Even when Penn got the takedown he was not able to capitalize and control Edgar on the ground due to his speed and aggressive movement.
He is without a doubt the UFC champ. He will not take on the only man that has beaten him in Gray Maynard. Maynard was able to control hometown favorite Kenny Florian with his wrestling. It will an all wrestling matchup and both fighters will try to use their wrestling ability to control each other.
In what was billed as boxing versus MMA. As expected Randy Couture dominated James Toney at will. He went for a single leg pick got mount and was able to dictate the fight and eventually submit the hall of fame boxer with a arm triangle.
Nate Diaz got fight of the night as he was able to dominate Marcus Davis with jabs and eventually put Davis out unconscious with a guillotine choke
Fighters were awarded $60,000 bonuses.
