Lesnar Survives to Beat Carwin

UFC Betting Review:
Brock Lesnar proved he is the best heavyweight in the world. In the first round against Shane Carwin was all over Lesnar as he knocked Lesnar down and hurt the UFC champ. Carwin punched Lesnar in the head for the better part of two minutes, cutting Lesnar badly over his left eye, yet he survived and even stood up from a barrage that would have stopped most fighters.
It was very close to being stopped but the former WWE star was able to survive the huge beat down. Carwin was visibly tired after his initial barrage of punches as Lesnar weathered a violent barrage from Carwin in the first round. In the second round Lesnar scored with a takedown in the second and trapped him in an arm-triangle choke that ended the fight. Up next for the champ is a fight with Cain Velasquez.
Chris Leben showed that he has improved his skills and fought Yoshihiro Akiyama just 2 weeks after beating Aaron Simpson. Chris Leben was behind on the score cards but late in the third round he pulled off a triangle choke to pull out the victory. Leben now wants a fight with Wanderlei Silva.
Matt Brown proved his lack of skill as he was clearly outmatched versus Chris Lytle who used he dominate ground game to beat Brown with a second round armbar.

This fight will be a striking battle in the first round. Lytle will try to feel Brown out and get his timing and distance. In the second round, Lytle will start to takeover and get the takedown. Since Brown has little ability on the ground Lytle will be able to control and submit him since he has little or no idea what to do on the ground.
Fighters were awarded $75,000 bonuses.
