UFC Betting Review:

Rashas Evans punching Thiago SilvaIf you read our UFC match up report for the Rashad Evans versus Thiago Silva fight we stated that

Evans is a notoriously slow fighter who likes to wait for opportunity. It is usually not until the second roud that he starts to pick up the fight which will frustrate the pressure fighter Silva.

Expect to see Evans making his move in the third round. A good UFC prop bet to make is for this fight to go into the third round.

Look for Rashad Evans to Outthink Thiago Silva for a Victory

Former UFC champion Rashad Evans fought through a furious third-round comeback attempt from Thiago Silva and outpointed the Brazilian in the UFC 108 main event on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Evans was abel to dominate Silva the first two rounds as he picked him up and slammed him to the canvas on a number of occasions, who could not do anything going in the first 10 minutes. Now Evans gets what he has been looking for; a fight with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

The worst game plan of the night came from Dustin Hazelett whop unexpectedly tried to stand up and strike with Paul Daley. The result was evident as Hazelett, did not try to take the fight to the ground and seemed content to take the center of the cage and strike with Daley. In the end Daley sent into Hazelett unconsciousness at 2:24 into the opening period.

The biggest surprise of the night came from Sam Stout whop was able to beat Joe Lauzon in their lightweight tilt. Stout, a nearly 3-to-1 underdog at most online sportsbooks, nearly saw an early end to his night, as Lauzon locked up a kimura but he managed to escape. Lauzon had his grappling moments put Stout was able to out strike Lauzon for a unanimous decision victory.
