UFC Betting Review:
The UFC 98 preliminary fights had one time Dana White favorite Phillipe Nover form the Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale fighting Kyle Bradley. The fight start out good but Bradley lands a huge right hand and hurts Nover and goes for a single leg. Than out of the blue Yves Lavigne steps in and stops the fight way to premature with the crowd booing loudly.
In a huge upset, Frank Edgar was able to out pressure and out strike Sean Sherk. He fought the game plan Sherk is most known for. All three judges agree and award 30-27 scores to Frankie Edgar
The most anticipated fight of the night was the grudge match between Matt Hughes and Matt Serra. In the first round Serra almost knocked Hughes out but Hughes took control of the second and third round to win the fight. This might be the last fight for the UFC welterweight legend.
Well someone’s 0 did go and it was Lyoto The Dragon Machida that eluded Rashad Evans and ended dropping him to become the new UFC 205 light heavyweight champion. Evans has no answer for the Karate master fighting style. With his awkward fighting style Machida might be able to hold onto the title for a while since no fighter will be able to figure him out.
