UFC Betting Review:
For the first time in history someone went the distance with the top pound for pound fighter in the world. Thales Leites did something no other fighter in history ever did; he went 5 full rounds with Anderson Silva. Silva looked like he was toying with Leites for all five rounds as he was unleashed punches and kicks at will but the crowd in Montréal was not impressed as chats of GSP ran through the crowd. Silva won a unanimous decision and won was what was the most boring title fight in UFC history
One of the most anticipated fights in history was the Chuck Liddell versus Shogun Rua fight. This fight was for redemption as both fighters needed a win not only to stay I the light heavyweight picture but to also stay in the UFC as well.
For the first time in a long time someone was able to take Liddell down as Shogun ties up his left foot in an inverted heel hook. Liddell escapes and both fighters stand. Near the end of the first round Shogun lands a left hook that send Liddell to the ground. Rua jumps on Chuck and Mario Yamasaki stop the fight at 4:28 of the first round. This might have been Liddell’s farewell fight in the UFC as he looked slower and less quick.
So what’s up for Shogun now that he looked in shape and what about Silva who seems bored with fighting?
