UFC Betting Review:
The biggest UFC fight in history has come and gone and Georges St Pierre put on a clinic but destroying BJ Penn for 4 rounds. By the third round BJ Penn looked dejected, and as we said in our MMA match up GSP would win this fight on reach and on a superior game plan.
His used his reach to back off Penn with his strikes and he confused Penn with a masterful game plan by Greg Jackson. As we said St Pierre has evolved as a fighter unlike Penn who only trains to get in shape. Penn got crushed with a dominate top game and GSP was able to pass Penn’s guard and half guard with ease. In the end Penn could not come out for the fifth round as his brother threw in the towel.
The under card were also full of action as Manny "Pitbull" Gamburyan was in tough versus Thiago Tavares after his brutal KO lost against Robert Emerson. Both fighters were very intense and ready to go in the end Thiago Tavares was more aggressive and won a unanimous decision.
Best entrance of the night was Akihiro Gono’s. Gono walks in full drag with a wig, sparkly silver dress and glamour shades and with two dancing women performing a choreographed dance. No amount of dancing would help Gono as Jon Fitch laid a striking and grappling beating on him.
Almost every fight in this card went to as decision but Lyoto Machida was able to put away Thiago Silva with a first round KO.
