UFC 74: Respect

UFC Results: Randy the Natural Couture once again defied all critics and especially the online sportsbook at the age of 44 but just spanking Gabriel Gonzaga (28 years old) and nuetralizing his game. Though most critics considered Couture an underdog if you read our MMA UFC match up we were right on the money except for the TKO. Couture broke Gonzaga’s nose after Couture slammed him to the ground. The Nature heard his nose break as his head made contact with his nose. Finally the ref stopped the fight do to the barrage of punches Couture was landing on Gonzaga.

In the other headline fight, Georges St Pierre once again become the number one contender in the UFC welterweight division as he just punished Josh Koscheck for 3 rounds. He out wrestled the wrestler and had him in numerous submission moves like a kimura and ankle lock. He basically beat Koscheck like he stole something from him. Again our MMA match up proved to be accurate in this mixed martial arts fight. Georges St Pierre still sits atop the our top ten in the welterweight division.

The best fight of the night was between Roger Huerta and Alberto Crane. Cane impressed everyone with his superior jujitsu skills as the first two rounds he was putting on a clinic in jujitsu and it is wasn’t for his cardio he might have won the fight. You have to give it to Huerta for being able to withstand the constant submission attempts. One disappointment in our eyes was the Clay Guida versus Marcus Aurelio. It was a great fight and we picked Maximus to won but Guida got the 3 round split decision which is something we don’t agree with.

The next with have Dan Henderson fighting Quinton Rampage Jackson in UFC 75: Champion versus Champion with early UFC Betting odds favoring Jackson at Bodog and BetCRIS.com

Thales Leites Ryan Jensen Submission (Armbar) 1

Renato Sobral David Heath Submission (Anaconda choke) 3 3:30

Roger Huerta Alberto Crane TKO (Strikes) 3 1:50
