UFC 67: All or Nothing

Finally it was Travis Lutter’s turn ti fight fore the UFC middle weight title. He won the right to fight the Brazilian Chute Boxe fighter by winning the Ultimate Fighter reality show on Spike TV. He won the right to face Anderson Silva by winning the middleweight division on The Ultimate Fighter 4: The Comeback which had Middleweight and welterweight competitions. This mixed martial arts reality television series that had Georges St Pierrre and Matt Hughes as the coaches. In the Middleweight Final Travis Lutter defeated Patrick Côté by armba submission at 2:18 of the first round of the mixed martial arts MMA finale.

At UFC 67 Lutter was a huge underdog for UFC bettors. Most UFC betting online sports bettors place their MMA bets on Silva despite the huge UFC odds on Silvia. To no ones surprise Silvia won the MMA event but not as easily as everyoine thought. This was channged to a MMA main event instead of a title fight since Lutter could not make weight.

Also on the card was the UFC debut of Pride fighters Quinton Rampage Jackson and Mirko Filipovic who took care of Marvin Eastman and Eddie Sanchez.

Kimbo Slice (-400) vs. Ken Shamrock (+320)
As a mixed martial arts purist I really want so badly for Ken Shamrock (26-13-2) to beat Kimbo Slice (3-0).However, Ken Shamrock is now 44 years old and has been knocked out in his last 5 fights and has only 2 wins in his last 9 fights...read more

Nate Diaz (-185) vs. Josh Neer (+155)
When it comes to fighting, Nate Diaz (9-2) has so many weapons and is better than Neer in almost every category. The online UFC betting lines at Bookmaker.com currently have Diaz as a -185 but I would have thought the sportsbook odds makers would have set the betting lines higher...read more
