UFC Fight for the TroopsCan you believe that Josh Koscheck (11-2) is going to headline the main event at UFC Fight Night 16 Fight for the Troops? He just fought a hard fight against Thiago Alves. Koscheck who took the fight on short notice lost a unanimous decision to Thiago Alves at UFC 90: Silva vs. Cote on October 25.

Even though he took a beating he gained a lot of respect in the MMA community and is now ready to fight again and headline the main event against former Shooto judo star Yoshiyuki Yoshida (10-2). Yoshida debut in the UFC at UFC 84 I’ll Will, defeating The Ultimate Fighter 6 contestant Jon Koppenhaver by Anaconda choke submission.

Koscheck, an American Kickboxing Academy fighter, will look to get back into the welterweight title race but will be I tough against a very tough judo fighter. UFC Fight Night 16: “Fight for the Troops” will air at 8 p.m. ET on Spike TV on fight night for FREE.

Other great fights will include a great lightweight match between Frank Edgar (9-1) vs. Handsome Matt Wiman (10-3)
