5 Dimes has put out their online betting odds for UFC 102 along with some UFC prop bets for the next UFC event that will be held on August 29, 2009 at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon for the first time.

The mixed martial arts main event will be former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champion, Randy Couture, fighting former PRIDE Heavyweight and UFC Interim Heavyweight champion, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

The winner will most likely get a shot a Brock Lesnar for the UFC Heavyweight championship. Both fighters are coming off a loss as Nogueira lost to Frank Mir and Couture lost to Lesnar. If you read the handicapping matchup for this fight we recommended

At the end of the day Nogueira is a better fighter with more skills. He can take a beating and will end up with a submission. Though Couture will control the first part of the fight, in the end Nogueira will put out a submission

Also on the card is Demian Maia versus Nate Marquardt fight. The online UFC betting odds have Maia as the betting underdog. His skills seem to be too good and at that price he is worth the bet.

One of the best bets of the night is the Ed Herman versus Aaron Simpson fight. Herman is a -150 favorite. This price is a steal for a very talented fighter. Yes he has some loses but to top level fighter unlike Aaron Simpson who is still unknown. At -150 this is one of the best bets to make.

The best UFC prop bet is for the fight between Thiago Silva and Keith Jardine to go the 3 round distance at +110. If you take Keith Jardine at -160 and parlay that fight with the UFC prop bet you can a decent payout.

UFC Fight Night 18 Condit vs. Kampmann betting odds

Posted on April 1st, 2009 in MMA Betting, UFC Betting Matchups, UFC News, UFC Odds by admin

  Bet at 5Dimes

UFC Fight Night 18 or UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann takes place and online sportsbook 5 Dimes has the full betting odds with UFC prop bets for all the fights.

The main event has Carlos Condit versus Martin Kampmann. Kampmann on all betting sites is a betting favorite due to the fact hat he has fought in the UFC many times but WEC fighter Carlos Condit is very capable of beating Kampmann who is basically a striker. Carlos Condit is 23 and 4 and holds wins over Frank Trigg, Brock Larson, and Renato Verissimo. Condit has recently changed camps and now trains out of Arizona Combat Sports.

He has very good grappling skills as well as a powerful wrestling base. Condit has never been KO’ed. Kampmann is basically a striker and once Condit takes him to the ground it will be over. At +105 this is a great bet to make before odds makers figure out that Condit is a legitimate fighter. If there is a prop bet to be made take Condit to win by submission.

UFC betting at 5 Dimes

As expected Rampage Jackson is a clear betting favorite but if you read our MMA handicapping report we believe that Jardine will win due to superior coaching and a good game plan.

One good underdog pick is for the Philippine Wrecking Machine Mark Munoz due to his far superior wresting skills over Matt Hamill. At +140 this is a good price to bet at

If you have 13000 to waste you can bet the fight not to be a draw. The 13000 is a UFC prop bet that you can make just to win 100. The prop bet I really like is for Jardine to win by 3 round decision which pays out +646

For us the biggest bet of the night is more out of principle for the UFC to put in quality fighters. Why is Matt Brown fighting in the UFC? Just because he was on the TUF reality show. He is one of the worst fighters with not real skills and one of the worst MMA camps under another UFC waste Jorge Gurgel. Out of principle we are betting huge on Pete Sell who will hopefully get rid of Matt Brown until he learns how to fight.

DREAM 7 Betting Lines and Odds

Posted on March 6th, 2009 in MMA Betting, UFC Betting Matchups, UFC Odds by admin

The DREAM 7 featherweight tournament is starting and online sportsbook bookmaker Bookmaker.com has just released the early online betting line for all first round matches.

The best bet is Bibiano Fernandes at -160. He gives good enough value asa he is fomer 5 time world jiujitus champion. At 3 and 2 his only loses came from the two top fighter sin the world at this weight class. Bibiano Fernandes won the MUNDIALS twice, was a 3 time Brazilian champion and 4 time State of Amazonas champion. His jiu-jitsu skills are some of the best in MMA at 135.

Also Abel Cullum give good value at -130 and he should use his power and aggression to beat Akiyo Nishiura.

Bets to stay away from at the -800 Shinya Aoki and -450 for Tatsuya Kawajiri. Their lines are too much to risk for little gain

UFC 95 full online sportsbook lines and props

Posted on February 19th, 2009 in MMA Betting, MMA News, UFC Betting Matchups, UFC News, UFC Odds by admin

UFC 95 bettingUFC 95 full online sportsbook lines and props by 5 Dimes have just been released. 5 Dimes is the only online sportsbook that offers great mixed martial arts betting proposition bets.

This UFC fight card the money line odds are not worth betting but there are some interesting props bets that minimize the investment. For example if you think Demian Maia  will win the fight -265 is not worth the bet but wagering on Maia to win by inside the distance  -150 is a much better bet to make. If you read our MMA matchup report we suggested a Chael Sonnen upset at +225 but if you want to bet on him ot KO Maia within the distance it pays out  +436.

Also betting on Josh Koscheck to win is a no brainer but shelling out -515 to win 100 is not worth it. For the fight to not go the 3 round distance  at -170 is a much better bet to make than at -515.

The UFC betting lines are not the greatest for this event but one fight the staff do like is the Rory Markham fight at -120. He has very good odds and you will not have to bet a lot to win.

For all UFC 95 odds check the lines out below.

UFC Fight Night 17 Betting Odds

Posted on February 7th, 2009 in MMA Betting, MMA News, UFC Betting Matchups, UFC News, UFC Odds by admin

UFC Fight Night 17 betting odds are out and you can bet UFC parlays and UFC prop bets at 5 Dimes.com

Best bet of the night is the Luigi Fioravanti  vs Anthony Johnson  fight. Johnson is a -350 and mostly because of his fight where he KO’ed Kevin Burns at the TUF 8 Finale. Belvie me Luigi Fioravanti  is a very good fighter that can take Johnson to the ground where he is very weak.

At +260 at most sportsbooks this is a fight the odds maker got way off. Fioravanti  has fought top level competition like Jon Fitch and Diego Sanchez while Johnson has fought no one.

Another great bet to make that our staff recommends is for Mac Danzig to beat Josh Neer. Neer is tough and a game fighter but Danzig is smart and will win this fight on the ground.

UFC 94 and UFC Fight Night 17 Betting and Prop Bet

Posted on January 31st, 2009 in MMA Betting, MMA News, UFC Betting Matchups, UFC Odds by admin

UFC 94 and UFC Fight Niight 17 Betting and Prop Bet

UFC 94 bettingFull UFC 94 St Pierre vs Penn 2 betting odds and proposition bets have been releashed. This is the most anticipated mixed martial arts fight with two fighters in their prime. Georges St Pierre will look to defeat BJ Penn one more time and if you have read our MMA UFC handicapping report we feel GSP will beat out Penn through reach and a better game plan.

As we say in our preview analysis

There are two major factors that will win this fight for Georges St Pierre. It will be coaching and his reach. If you are a Greg Jackson trained fighter you will come into the fight well prepared

For this fight online sports book 5 Dimes has put out a number of great prop bets with some interesting lines like GSP to win a 5 round decision at +286

For online UFC bettor the best underdog pick to make is for Thiago Silva at +230 to beat Lyoto Machida. In our matchup report we stated that Silva’s aggressiveness will score more points for a boring fight where Machida will basically run away. Silva will win a 3 round decision and +478 that is the best bet of the night to make for online UFC prop bets.

5 Dimes the only online sportsbook that offers UFC and mixed martial arts prop bets have just released their online betting odds for the upcoming UFC 93 fight card.

This UFC is not the greatest for online UFC bettors due to the large disparity in betting lines. But there are some good UFC prop bets that might be worth hedge. For instant, Henderson is not called Decision Dan for nothing and a UFC prop bet for him to win by decision is listed at +287. I would be all over this bet for him to beat and stall out a victory over Franklin.

Denis Kang opened up at -300 but lots of action has been placed on Belcher which has moved the lines down to -275. By the time the fight hits he might be down to -250. I suggest for all bettors to wait for the last possible moment to take Kang.

Affliction Day of Reckoning and UFC-94: St-Pierre vs Penn 2 Early Betting Lines

Posted on January 11th, 2009 in MMA Betting, MMA News, UFC Betting Matchups, UFC Odds by admin

Affliction  UFC-94: St-Pierre vs Penn 2 Betting Lines

Affliction Day of Reckoning BettingTwo huge mixed martial arts will kick off the early in 2009. Online spotsbook Bookmaker.com has just released online MMA betting odds for Affliction 2: Day of Reckoning and  UFC-94: St-Pierre vs Penn 2.

Affliction Day of Reckoning will make it second show with two of the best heavyweights squaring off in Andrei Arlovski and the most feared MMA fighter in the world in Fedor Emelianeko.

Most online sportsbooks have Emelianeko as a huge -415 betting advantage and Arlovski is a huge betting underdog at +335 at he is a top ten heavyweight to boot.  Gilbert Yvel who is one of the dirtiest MMA fighters in history will be facing a top 5 heavyweight in Josh Barnett. Gilbert Yvel has no bee very active for some time and is getting on with age while Barnett has the far far superior ground skills. One very interesting MMA matchup is the Vitor Belfort versus Matt Lindland fight. Lindland has not been very active and his last fight Affliction was quite disappointing while Belfort looked like he has regained his former form. This will be very interesting since Belfort now trains at Team Quest with Randy Couture but Lindland and Couture have been friend and partners for years now.

Also, early UFC 94 betting lines have been released and quite surprising that BJ Penn is a +140. Even though we think Georges St Pierre will win this fight I would have though the sportsbook oddsmakers would have set the lines much closer.

One underdog bet worth wagering on is the Thiago Silva versus Lyoto Machida fight. Machida might be overrated as we think his style is boring but he does not pressure and score enough points. He was almost triangle choked by Tito Ortiz. At +240 this might be the best value bet of the night.

Affliction 2: Day of Reckoning and UFC-94: St-Pierre vs Penn 2 sports book lines below.

Affliction 2: Day of Reckoning

Andrei Arlovski +335
Fedor Emelianeko  -415

Gilbert Yvel +450
Josh Barnett -600

Vitor Belfort +155
Matt Lindland  -195

UFC-94: St-Pierre vs Penn -2

BJ Penn +140

Lyoto Machida -300

Jon Jones +130
Stephan Bonnar -160

Bet on UFCBookmaker.com has just released the online UFC betting odds for the UFC 92 The Ultimate fight card. Bookmaker.com is the first sportsbook to open up with online UFC odds for online sports gamblers.

The best pick of the night is for Wanderlei Sivla to beat Quinton Jackson for the third time. If you read our UFC match up report for this fight we feel that Jackson is not mentally prepared to fight and that he has too many weaknesses that can be exposed.

Another good UFC dog pick to make is for Rashad Evans to be beat UFC light heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin. Evans is just too well coached to slip up while Griffin is a fighter that leaves it all out the window.

Our biggest dog pick is Mike Massenzio to beat CB Dollaway. Massenzio is a good ground fighter and Dollaway does not have a great ground game.
