UFC 85 Online Betting Odds

Posted on May 27th, 2008 in UFC Odds by admin

Bookmaker has just released the full online sports betting odds for UFC 85 Bedlam. As always Bookmaker is the first online sportsbook to have the earliest online UFC betting lines posted before any other book. The event will take place on June 7, 2008 in London England at the O2 Arena. North American audiences will be able to see this fight on Pay per view at 1:30 EST.

The main event has Matt Hughes versus Thiago Alves. For UFC online bettors the best value for betting seems to the Fabricio Werdum versus  Brandon Vera   fight as both fights have great value. The underdog pick seems to be the Thales Leites and Nate Marquart fight. Leites has great grappling skills and is a better striker than Marquart. At +135  is looks like a great bet. One bet to stay away from is Marcus Davis versus Mike Swick. Fans love the Irish Hand Grenade but he will be fighting Mike Quick Swick who is the more well rounded fighter. At +105 don’t be led to bet on the UFC fan favorite. One good under dog pick is Luiz Cane who at even odds is a best bet to make over Jason Lambert at -130.

Georges St-Pierre and number one contender Jon Fitch, which will headline the UFC 87 card at Target Center to replace the Lesner/Coleman main event.

UFC 84 Betting Lines Out

Bet on the UFC 84 at Bookmaker

UFC 84 BettingNow that UFC is drawing nearer Bookmaker has just released their full UFC 84 online betting odds for the main card and the preliminary cards.

Most online sports betting have had the betting odds out but only Bookmaker has the full line up to wager on

The main event fight shave been out for a while now and BJ is still a huge favorite. The Dean of Mean Keith Jardine’s betting odds have increased as a underdog as he was initially listed as a +135 but now he is a +180 with the Axe Murderer increasing his betting odds to -180 from -165. A lot of bets have been made on Silva which has pushed the betting line further.

Online UFC bettors have been giving Tito some love as his betting odds have dropped from +185 to +175

For all UFC matchups for these three fights check out the UFC matchups at http://www.fighting-mma.com/mma-matchups/index.php

Sean Sherk +215
BJ Penn -265

Keith Jardine +150
Wanderlai Silva -180

Tito Ortiz +175
Lyoto Machida -215

For the under card fights Bookmaker has the odds listed below

Goran Reljic +125
Wilson Gouveia -155

Antonio Mendes +510
Thiago Silva -660

Rousimar Palhares +125
Ivan Salverry -155

Kazuhiro Nakamura +195
Rameau Sokoudjou -245

Terry Etim +175
Rich Clementi -215

Jon Koppenhaver +135
Yoshiyuki Yoshida -165

Jason Tan +260
Dong Hyun Kim -320

Shane Carwin -175
Christian Wellisch +145

If you read the MMA matchup between Goran Reljic versus Wilson Gouveia we predicted Reljic would be the underdog and the online spotsbook have him as such. I would bet a lot on Reljic to upset Gouveia.

Other underdog picks bettors should wager on is the Rousimar Palhares fight. Ivan Salverry is getting a little too old Palhares is an up and comer. At 7 and 1 his BJJ and grappling skills are much better than Salverry’s. He is a Brazilian Top Team fighter while Ivan Salverry has only average skills striking and grappling.

One bet to stay away from is the Jon Koppenhaver fight. North Americans saw Jon Koppenhaver put on a great show in the UFC fight night but he is fighting Yoshiyuki “Zenko” Yoshida who beat Akira Kikuchi. Yoshida can strike and the War Machine really hasn’t fought anyone good. Don’t place a bet on Koppenhaver just because you have seen him on TV and not Yoshida.

If you would like to place a bet on the UFC Bookmaker is one of the best books out there, as they are the first to come out with the online betting lines for all sports.

BetUS.com has UFC 84 Betting Odds

In preparation for Sean The Musle Shark Sherk BJ Penn is currently training with WEC 140 lbs champ Urijah Faber out in Hawaii. If this means anything then his striking will be even sharper than usual and we all know what a great submission game he has. Mr. Sherk will be disadvantaged with the lack of roids in his system look for going for the ground and pound technique all night.

Here is the real reason why ‘roids’ are banned in MMA sports. No one wants to see fighters in colorful thongs. Is that Eddie Murphy on the left?

Mixed Martial Arts UFC Early Betting Odds

Bookmaker.com has early online betting lines and odds for the next upcoming UFC pay per view events and for the upcoming TUF 7 Finale. Check out www.fighting-mma.com for upcoming UFC matchup reports. Bookmaker is the one online sports betting sites that come out with very early MMA betting lines so as an online sports betting you can get very good wagering lines that most offshore betting sites don’t offer.

For example, I love the odds on Forrest Griffin. As the TUF show gets more popular more people will be betting for Griffin which means his betting odds will reduce by the time of the fight. By placing an early bet you can get a better pay out. The close the MMA gets the more likely the betting lines will move; sometimes in favor or sometimes against what you wanted to wager on.

Liz Bader Posener is a pro MMA women’s fighter who trains with the Professor Marcus Soares in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu in Vancouver Canada. Liz holds a blue belt under Soares who was Carlson Gracie’s number one student. Soares is the highest ranking black belt under the late great BJJ fighter.

Since transitioning from a primarily kick boxer to BJJ she has received her blue belt from Marcus Soares and has raised her grappling game to new heights as Liz won title belts in 2 different weight classes, and 4 silver medals and even tapped out a  black belt. Liz’s highlight of the day was a ankle lock submission win for the women’s middle weight title and an arm bar submission on a black belt champion in the absolute no gi division

Liz Bader Posener has been tearing up the local scene in MMA and BJJ tournaments in the Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest. She decided that she wanted to step up the competition and try her luck at Grappler’s Quest in Las Vegas where there would be more women fighting. In her first large scale tournament Liz did a remarkable job in both the gi and non gi classes.

After 6 hard divisions her she placed:
