Is Georges St Pierre on Human Growth Hormone?

Mixed Martial Arts Betting and Odds

GSP Josh KoscheckEven though the fight has been over for some time now the war or words is still on between BJ Penn and Georges St Pierre. Now Number one contender for the UFC Welterweight title, Josh Koscheck has spouted off about the UFC champion possibly being on steroids or human growth hormone.

Josh Koscheck who is on a 3 mixed martial arts fight winning streak with wins over Frank Trigg at UFC 103: Franklin vs. Belfort, Anthony Johnson at UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin 2 and Paul Daley at UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun 2 moved up to fight for the UFC welterweight title against the current Champ Georges St Pierre.

Koscheck has always been willing and able to trade words has stated in an interview to MMAJunkie.com that fighters from other camps told him Georges St. Pierre uses anabolic steroids and a Human Growth Hormone. Koscheck pointed a finger at the former Lightweight Champion BJ Penn:

"From what I've heard from other fighters in other camps, yeah, [St-Pierre] has done steroids and HGH, possibly. This is just on hearsay information that I've gotten. B.J. Penn and his camp gave me a little phone call. They were saying, 'Yeah, he's on steroids. He's this; he's that.' I said, 'Yeah, there's a possibility.' The guy is pretty ripped all year round."

Koscheck might be trying to start a war before the fight to get underneath the skin of GSP to throw the champion his game. The two fighters fought previously in 2007 at UFC 74: Respect where St Pierre demolished Koscheck for all 5 rounds. This new accusation might be in an attempt to throw the champ off.

As for BJ Penn, he is still bitter about his loss with GSP and has done everything to accuse the champion from cheat with Vaseline and now the HGH and asteroid allegation.

In his response to Koscheck's statement, Georges St. Pierre declared that he is not afraid to do an Olympic-level drug test to prove he's not on steroids: "I have no problem; anytime he wants. I'm for random drug testing. There's nobody in the UFC that agrees more with random testing then me. ... Anything they want, I don't care. I give my body to science."

There has been no comment from BJ Penn or the UFC to determine if these allegations are true.
