Manvel Gamburyan (5-2) is a capable fighter that posses a lot of problems for fighters because he is short, stalky and powerful. He has the same build to that of Sean Sherk. He is built like a T-RSex just like Sean Sherk with little itty bitty arms which make sit hard for people to arm bar.
Nate Mohr (8-4) is an OK fighter and comes from the Team Curren camp in Iowa. He has decent hand speed and heavy hands. He is the prototypical from Iowa fighter with a very good wreslting background.
Manvel Gamburyan has a judo background and trains with his cousin Karo Parisyan. He was a finalist in last years Ultimate Fighter Reality series TUF but lost to Nate Diaz in the finals when he landed awkwardly on his right shoulder which he dislocated during the final. He was forced to tap out due to the pain.
Gamburyan is a very tricky fighter to fight against. He has explosive power with great balance due to his judo background. Gamburyan will be four inches shorter than Mohr but this will be an advantage to Gamburyan as his little compact body will be hard to take down and he will be hard to submit.
Bottom Line: Even though Mohr has more experience I like Gamburyan in this fight. His body type gives a lot of fighters problems and he has a good judo back ground and with that type of base he will be able extinguish Mohr’s ground and pound. Mohr will not be able to submit Gamburyan and he will be able to frustrate his game plan.
Take Gamburyan in a three round decision
