Karo Parisyan has probably the most skill
in the Welterweight division. The problem with Karo is that
he has been an elite martial arts competitor since the age of
9 and he has been mowing down people in judo competitions for
years without any effort. His talent has related to mixed martial
arts where he has also dominated opponents with his amazing
judo flips and submission skills.
Now
that Karo has moved in the upper echelon of welterweight fighters
he has not trained as hard as he could have he has show some
lack luster matches, in opponents he should have beat. When
Karo has now realized that he can not rely on his talent alone
so he has started training with run by no other than UFC heavyweight
champion Randy Couture, Josh Barnett and Team Quest.
If
Karo is in the Team Quest camp I feel sorry for Josh Burkman
because come Saturday night Karo will be in shape. Josh Burkman
is a game fighter and he has a punchers chance but that’s
about it. Burkman is an all round ok fighter but is way out
of his league in submissions. Parisyan should manhandle Burkman
with judo throws and submissions.
Bottom Line: Karo Parisyan
has rededicated himself to the game of mixed martial arts and
this MMA match up will prove to the UFC that he is a real threat
to the UFC welterweight title.
The
Heat overwhelms Burkman for a first round kimura from the guard
