If you saw the Ultimate Fighter reality show and thought that Matt Serra might have a chance with Georges St Pierre then give yourself a slap. For god sakes St Pierre beat Mat Hughes who is one of the best fighters in the world, and he did it will ease. You might think to yourself that putting some money down on Serra for a big payoff; think again. Bet the house, the farm and the kid’s college fund on the sure thing. Georges St Pierre will take apart Matt Serra without breaking a sweat. St Pierre is one of the top ranked fighters in the world pound for pound and his stand up at this point to so deadly. Serra is known to be a great jujitsu practitioner but St Pierre also has great ground skills and is a lot stronger. Serra has a weak chin which is evident by getting KO'ed by Shonie Carter with a spinning back fist and almost again in the Ultimate Fighter reality series. Serra'a last six fights were all by decision which shows he doesn't have the skills to put people out.

Bottom Line: St Pierre has too much skill and power on the stand and if the fight gets taken to the ground St Pierre can also hold his own. Serra has the skill but not the ability to finish using his skill against a fighter who is at the top of his game in the mixed martial arts world right now

Viva le French Canadian in this fight. First round KO with a leg kick to the head by St Pierre

Diego Sanchez (-240) vs. Josh Koscheck (+180)

Diego Sanchez

UFC 69: Shootout
Diego Sanchez vs. Josh Koscheck
Saturday April 7, 2007
Sanchez (-240)
Bet it now at BetUS.com

Wow if you are an UFC bettor take Diego Sanchez at -240 before the line gets worse. Diego is at the top of his game right now in the MMA world and he continues to improve. Critics said he could not knock people out and he went KO’ed Joe Riggs in the first round at the last UFC Fight Night. No one has every knocked out Diesel Riggs before Sanchez. In my opinion he is the top UFC welterweight besides Georges St Pierre. He has it all. To keep his stand up game even better he has gone over to train with Oscar Del La Hoya and his boxing coach. First off Diego is not going in as an observer as Del la Hoya is training heavily for his fight versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. so the training will be intense. And secondly, get real boxing experience form a heavy hitter like Del la Hoya is priceless.

Josh Koscheck is still very green in the MMA world. If hoi think he has learn how to strike and learn how to submit people in 2 years and expect to compete on the same level as Sanchez than he is dreaming. He has learned quick but learned and doing are two different things in the UFC Octagon. Koscheck is brash and cocky and honestly can not back up what he claims. He was a wrestler who has not yet adapted to the UFC cage. Who has Koscheck fought? Nobody. In the UFC commercials, the promo is that this will be Diego’s toughest test yet. Are you forgetting that Diego fought Karo Parisyan and Nick Diaz.

Bottom Line: The fight will be over quick. Either in stand up or submission. When we talk about Diego Sanchez he is a very calm and grounded fighter that thinks when he fights. He is from the Jackson's Submission Fighting camp when is one of the best submission clubs in North America; combined with boxing held from Del la Hoya this fight will be over soon. Who does Koschcck train with? EXACTLY

Devastating KO in the first round. I hope Koscheck likes eating through a straw
