UFC 66 Liddell versus Ortiz 2Bet on MMA Fighting Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz
Most people will say that Ortiz has no chance versus Liddell on Dec, 30 at UFC 66. And guess what they are right. Oritz is one of the most over rated fighters in history. His is a glorified wrestler in an MMA world. In their last meeting Liddell knocked the crap out of Oritz. Liddell basically goated Ortiz to stand up and trade with him. He did and he got KO'ed BAD. Unless Oritz tries to take Liddell down and ground and pound than he will again get KO'ed. If Randy Couture could not take Liddell down what makes people think Ortiz can. People will argue that Ortiz was won his last 5 fights but against who. Two against an aging Ken Shamarock, 1 versus Forrest Griffin who is not an elite fighter and Tito could not take down. There are those who feel the Forrest won that fight. Finally a win over Patrick Cote who took that fight on a weeks notice. Tito hasn’t beat a real quality opponent since 2000 and the ones he has lost to are Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, and Frank Shamarock. His only win against a very good fighter was in 2000 when he beat Wanderlei Silva which many though won that fight. People talk about Oritz’s great conditioning but you that was not evident versus Forrest Griffin and he has no submission skills except for a neck crank which everyone knows how to defend now. Everyone knows Chuck's game plan. He will punch from all angles and has great kicks. With the best stand up defense in MMA there is no one in the world that can take him down and keep him down. Ortiz does not have the Jujitsu skills to pose a ground and pound threat. Bottom Line: Oritz is too preoccupied dating porn star Jenna Jamison and his lack of punching power and stand up skill and his inability to take Chuck down will cause him to get his chicklets knockout again. Oritz’s will get destroyed in first round KOMichael Bisping vs Eric Schafer
UFC 66 Liddell vs. Ortz 2 Mike Bisping is the latest winner of the Ultimate fighter reality series and he has all the skills to be a major player. He has excellent striking and stand up skills and in his ground game he has above average skills. Always known as a striker he surprised many with his ground skills in the reality show. He is undefeated in at 11 and 0 with 8 KO's and should take care of Schafer in no time. Eric Schafer is 7-1-2 and in his last 5 matches he has won by submission. Bisping has enough ground defense and jujitsu skills to match Schafer. Two major questions about Bisping are if he can handle the big stage and if he can handle a submission artist. Bottom Line: Bisping is too strong for an average submission artist but will need some tie in the octagon to fight better quality opponents. Bisping in walk with a first round KO |
