Dream's Mixed Martial Arts Props Bets and MMA Parlays at 5 Dimes
What was billed as a lightweight battle proved to be a quick fight as Dream lightweight champion Shinya Aoki easier tapped out hard hitting Tatsuya Kawajiri via submission by Achilles lock early in the first round.
On the heels of a devastating loss to Gilbert Melendez in a Strikeforce championship bout last April Aoki proved he was back among the top lightweights.
Gesias Cavalcante won his fight with a split decision and is now most likely next in line to fight Aoki. Originally scheduled for light heavyweight, Jake O'Brien failed to make weight and enters this fight with an automatic yellow card and a 10 percent purse deduction.
Gegard Mousasi is coming off a Strikeforce title loss to King Mo last April buy made little work of O'Brien with a 31 second submission.
The upset of the night was Melvin Manhoef by submission with a kimura.
