The main event has a much anticipated rematch between one of the best pounds for pound fighters in the world in Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva facing off with Dan “Hollywood” Henderson.

Silva is one of the meanest fighters in the world and the last time he face Henderson they threw punches at each other for the full 3 rounds. Not that each is more experienced this Saturday show will be an incredible fight. He is not afraid to stand and throw with Silva; in their last meeting he rocked Silva with a right that stunned him. In Vegas they will be fighting under USA regulated rules where kicking or stomping a downed opponent is illegal. This is a disadvantage for Silva who loves to stomp on an opponents head with his heel.

Don’t expect this match to go all three rounds. After Saturday this might be fight could be fight of the year. This is a must watch pay per view event; just watching Pride’s opening ceremony is worth the price of admission as they hold no expenses when is comes to opening ceremonies that rivals an Las Vegas show on the strip.
