Middleweight unification bout: Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson

Henderson has never lost a fight at 185. He has always fought fighters that are big and more powerful than he is. Dan Henderson can match power strike for power strike and if this fight goes to the ground he has enough wrestling skills and overall power to not be submitted.

Betting Wise: Henderson is a dog in this fight at BetCRIS has him at +140. This is the best dog bet to make

Heavyweight bout: Heath Herring vs. Cheick Kongo

Heath Herring is a better fighter overall than Kongo is. Kongo is a great striker but a slow one; Herring has way better ground skills to take Kongo down and ground and pound him. Kngo is very weak in the ground and once on his back it will be over quick.

Betting Wise: I would lay a lot on Herring who has more experience and fought better fighters.

Middleweight bout: Evan Tanner vs. Yushin Okami

Yushin Okami is a slow starter but he has the size and power advantage. Tanner is not the fighter he use to be and he will have problems with Okami’s reach and power. Being a bigger body Tanner will have a hard time taking top position and controlling Okami on the ground.

Betting Wise: Okami is the stronger fighter and will use he size and power to overwhelm Tanner. Lay a fair chuck of coin on Okami.

Welterweight bout: Josh Koscheck vs. Dustin Hazelett

Josh Koscheck is getting better day but day and he will be fighting Dustin Hazelett who is more of a submission fighter. If GSP could not submit Koscheck I don’t think Hazelett has a chance.

Betting Wise: Though the odds are not up I would lay off this fight as Koscheck will be a
-300 in this fight.  Koscheck will win this fight.

Welterweight bout: Diego Sanchez vs. David Bielkheden

Sanchez will press this fight from the get go. Bielkheden most wins are  by decision which shows that he is not a great power finisher. On the ground, Sanchez will roll through Bielkheden.

Betting Wise: Like the Koscheck fight, Sanchez will be a high favorite and not worth laying the amount of money for little return.

Heavyweight bout: Andrei Arlovski vs. Jake O'Brien

Jake O'Brien has a lot of power and will pose Arlovski a lot of problems. O'Brien is very heavy handed and he has way more power to overwhelm Arlovski who has not fought in quite awhile.

Betting Wise: When the odds come out, they should be close to even or favor Arlovski. I would bet the dog in this fight. If O'Brien is a slight favorite lay your wager on him.

Middleweight bout: Chris Leben vs. Alessio Sakara

Sakara has better technique in the stand up but is always a game fighter. I don’t think he has the power to knock out Leben and has a much better ground game. Leben has much improved his all round game and his last fight with Terry Martin showed that he is always a game fighter. Sakara has no ground game whatsoever once this fight goes ot th ground it will be over quick

Betting Wise: Bet a lot of Leben as he is a way better all round fighter.

Welterweight bout: Jon Fitch vs. Chris Wilson

Jon Fitch should be fighting a top level opponent not Chris Wilson. Wilson is a Team Quest member and has decent wrestling skills but he has no match for Fitch would has once of the best UFC welterweights in the world

Betting Wise: Like the Koscheck and Sanchez fight the line will be heraviy favored on Fitch. I would lay off but why not bet 300 to get 100 as that’s what the UFC betting odds will be around. This fight is a sure thing.

Lightweight bout: Jorge Gurgel vs. John Halverson

Why Does Gurgel keep getting fights in the UFC? I have made a living betting against Gurgel. He is honestly on of the worst fighter in the UFC with no game plan for what his credentials are. Halverson has better standup and is a bigger body. He will impose his size and power on Gurgel. Even though Gurgel has way better ground skills, he will likely not use his ground game but instead try to make this a stand up fight. If this fight does go to the ground he will not be able to submit the bigger body of Halverson.

Betting Wise: Lay you money on Halverson who is a much better striker than Gurgel is.

Welterweight bout: Luke Cummo vs. Luigi Fioravanti

Luigi Fioravanti is a over charged fighter and always emotional. Luke Cummo is a different type of fighter as well. Both of these fighters will come out banging and I feel the Cummo will win this fight with an upset. He is the taller fighter and he has an unorthodox striker style that will pose Fioravanti problems.

Betting Wise: I like the dog in this fight. Take Cummo for an upset victory with his weird striking and fighting style.
