How to bet on the UFC and mixed martial arts fights

As a former Pride devotee I loved Pride. There was nothing better than Pride fighting and that to me is what made mixed martial arts thrive. But unlike Pride hardcore fans I can accept it is gone and move forward. I do love the UFC and they have just as many exciting fighters and fights to watch and perhaps lay a couple of bucks on. For me UFC betting is better than ever and betting on the UFC is more of a recreational add-on to making the fight better. Where would the NFL be if there were no sports betting? Sports betting coincided with the growth of the NFL and both would not be where they are today without one another.  Where do you think point spreads originated from.

So as a UFC bettor I have come up with the top five UFC fighters to wager on. I judge these fighters not by their MMA fight records, or their rankings but on their excitability fighting in the UFC octagon as well as what they can give to online sports UFC bettors.

5) Chris “The Crippler” Leben

If you are a fan of our MMA matchup and betting site they you may know that we continuously ride on Chris Leben as a bad fighter with no skills. Betting against Leben we have made a lot of money. Despite losing Leben continues to put on great exciting UFC fights. His fights are great. No matter the skill level he will put on a great show and that’s what Joel Silva and Dana White want in an MMA fighter. The more he fights in the UFC the more money we lay against him. However, Leben has improves much as a fighter and now we have started to lay a lot of money on him. UFC betting wise he is one of the most exciting fighters to watch and lay money on.

4. Tim “The Maniac” Sylvia

He is the fighter everyone loves to hate. Hence bet against. In our MMA matchups and betting predictions we have been bang on with most of our Sylvia predictions as he wins most of his fights and loses some. However, most hardcode UFC fans and online bettors hate Tim Sylvia and he is constantly bet against. There is something about Sylvia that people hate and they always bet against him. I can’t put my finger on it but people just don’t like him. Sylvia just brings out the hate in people and that translates into online betting as people just want to see him lose.

3.  Randy “The Natural” Couture

The Natural is on e of the most exciting UFC fighters to place online wagers on. Despite being in the top ten in the heavyweight division he is always an underdog in most of his UFC fights. Against Gabriel Gonzaga and Tim Sylvia he was an underdog and yet he continues to defy the online sportsbooks. For some reason the online betting site look at his age or something because he is always the underdog. Betting on Couture is always a great bet as you want to root for the underdog. 2. Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell

How can you not bet on the UFC and not place a wager on Chuck Liddell?
